  • 2-15-17: Pastor Search officially launches

  • 8-6-16: Intentional Interim Pastor Dave Miles arrived.
  • 7-20-16: CRM contract is signed. Pastor Dave Miles, Intentional Interim Pastor, will be in Moses Lake August 6, 2016.
  • 6-26-16: Following the Members Meeting, the Lead Team met for prayer and discussion regarding our next steps. The Lead Team resolved to hire CRM-Dave Miles as our Intentional Interim Pastor. He will start in early August.
  • 6-26-16: The Members Meeting was held to vote on hiring an Intentional Interim Pastor. Ballots were distributed after discussion and the majority of votes moved to hire an Intentional Interim Pastor.
  • 6-12-16: The Lead Team has called a Members Meeting on Sunday, June 26th at 11:15 AM. With a quorum, there will be a vote held for an Intentional Interim Pastor. 
  • There was a Congregational Informational Meeting held. An update on the Assessment and Intentional Interim Pastor and Senior Pastor Search was provided.
  • 6-9-16: The Lead Team will update the congregation at the Sunday, June 12th meeting. They are recommending hiring an Intentional Interim Pastor to assist us with the CRM recommendations. The Lead Team has also called a membership meeting on Sunday, June 26th at 11:15 AM to vote on an Intentional Interim Pastor.
  • 6-2-16: The Lead Team decided to contact CRM and NCS for a list of Interim Pastor services and fees.
  • 5-25-16: The Lead Team met to discuss the Church Health Assessment Final Report and spoke with CRM on a conference call. Next Lead Team meeting is set for 6-26-16. The Lead Team has also called a Congregational Information Meeting on Sunday, June 12, 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM, for an update on the Church Health Assessment, the possibility of an Interim Senior Pastor, and Senior Pastor search update.
  • 5-18-16: The Lead Team set up a meeting with CRM to discuss the possibility of hiring an interim pastor; that meeting is set for 5-25-16.
  • 5-4-16: The Lead Team gathered for the purposes of debriefing the CRM Summary Report and prayed to the Lord for direction. The Lead Team is contacting CRM as to what is involved in hiring an interim pastor. The next meeting is 5-18-16
  • 4-24-16: CRM presented to the congregation a preliminary Church Health Summary Report. There were over 250 in attendance. The Lead Team shared that they are going to continue to process what was communicated by CRM and will call a congregational meeting in the future. The final CRM report will be completed within 6-8 weeks.
  • 4-20-16 -- 4-23-16: CRM conducted in-person and phone interviews for the Church Health Assessment and Pastoral Search process. Next up? CRM/Congregation Meeting 4-24-16 at 11:15 AM, to hear a preliminary report from CRM.
  • 3-16-16: The Lead Team met and reviewed the CRM proposed schedule.

  •    1/13/16: The Lead Team approved the CRM contract for the health assessment services.  Pastor Kent is to complete the pre-packet information.  The Lead Team will share an information update in both services on Sunday, January 24th.
  •  12-16-15:  The Lead Team conducted an online video interview with representatives from Church Resource Ministries (CRM) regarding their church assessment services.  They’ve come highly recommended by our District Superintendent and two area churches who have utilized them. Following discussions, the Lead Team voted to move forward with CRM to conduct a church health assessment. The Lead Team will unveil a proposed plan for the assessment in January.
  •  12-2-15:  The Lead Team discussed conducting a church-wide assessment.  Further research is required.  Senior pastor and search committee job    descriptions will be formulated after further input from the congregation.  The next Lead Team meeting is December 16, 2015.
  •  11-8-15:  The Lead Team met, discussed and prayed.  A subsequent meeting will be set to discuss such issues as senior pastor job description, search committee job description, etc.
  •  10-27-15:  The Lead Team met with District Superintendent Randy Shaw to learn more about the pastoral search process.
  • 10-4-15: Pastor Jody's last day.
  • 9-2-15: Pastor Jody resigned.
