Ministries and Service Teams

There are a variety of active ministries at Moses Lake Alliance Church. Some are designed to provide fellowship and others are designed to support and growth. You can find events planned for these ministries listed on our events calendar.

Service Teams and Ministries

One of the best ways to connect with the church and to get to know other believers is to serve together. We serve inside and outside the walls of the church. Below is a list of service opportunities that are available.

Serve

  • Connections Team

We want everyone who enters our doors to feel welcome and loved. Making that connection with visitors is the job of the Connections Team. Direct morning traffic, greeting visitors or man the Coffee Counter or Connections Center to help give people a great first impression of Moses Lake Alliance Church.

  • Welcome Team

The Welcome Team takes the connections made during a first visit a step further. They contact first-time visitors to try to build a lasting relationship. We want everyone who visits MLAC to know that we care about them and want to make a personal connection with them.

  • Kids ministry

MLAC KIDS offers opportunities for children birth through fifth grade to experience the love of Jesus in safe, age-appropriate settings. Volunteer teams in KIDS Ministry help share God's love with kids. Service opportunities include everything from rocking babies to equipping kids in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus. There are also opportunities to help greet and assist parents at the check-in kiosk.

  • Youth ministry

    Not Available at this time

Dunamis, our High School ministry, and The Rock, the Middle School group, both provide a place for students to be challenged and grow in their faith. Volunteers develop relationships and equip youth in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ by getting involved in Youth Ministries.

  • communications Ministry

Communications Ministry produces a variety of communications for the church from printed flyers to websites, social media posts and more. If you have a passion for photography, writing, social media or have layout or graphic design skills, you can use them to help keep the congregation informed and connected.

  • stream team

The stream team works behind the scene on Sunday morning filming, adjusting audio, lighting and producing the livestream for our online service. This team is an integral part of how the in-person and online services look and sound. If you're comfortable behind a video camera or are interested in video production, there is a spot for you on the Stream Team.

  • Library team

The Luke Library is available to all attenders of Moses Lake Alliance Church and the Library Team works hard to keep the library stocked with great books and videos for all ages.

  • Growth groupS

    Redeveloping at this time.

Growth Groups provide a smaller group setting allowing believers to live out their faith together in an environment designed to build relationships and encourage each other in their walk with Jesus while studying the Bible. Click here to join a Growth Group. If you have the spiritual gift of leadership there are a number of service opportunities in Growth Group leadership.

  • Marriage Ministry

Hope to fully develop this ministry in the future.

Our Marriage Ministry hosts the annual Marriage Retreat and strives to support strong marriages in our church. The ministry also includes Marriage 911 which is a program designed to help marriages that are in trouble.

  • Food service fellowship team

Every great event includes food, right? The Fellowship Team helps prepare and serve food at a variety of events.

  • Worship team

The Worship Team leads the congregation in worship each Sunday morning. The Worship Team is always looking for new musicians and vocalists. If you play an instrument or sing, we’d love for you to join us for an audition.

  • Grief Share

    Not available at this time.

Grief Share is a group designed to support those experiencing the grief that comes with the loss of a loved one. Grief Share meets at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays in Room 211 September through April.

  • Ushers/security/Maintenance/Janitorial Team

The Ushers, Security, and Maintenance Teams work hard to keep everything running smoothly for the every day needs of the church and at events. They help clear sidewalks, show people to their seats, answer questions, secure the parking lot and more.

The Maintenance Team helps with the needs of the  vehicles, grounds, building, general  maintenance and custodial needs for the church.

If you have skills in these area's, you are needed!
